Bright Side Education has been the best thing we could do for our kids future! The unique learning environment has helped both of our boys immensely. The lessons are tailored to the individual learning style and needs. The tutoring is done in a fun and welcoming environment which encourages the boys to want to go to their weekly visits.

The one on one tutoring offered at Bright Side Education has been a tremendous help to my struggling reader. Maddie has been working with Sara for over two years learning the Barton Method of reading. With Sara's tutoring, Maddie now enjoys reading and can't wait for her next session with Sara! I highly recommend Bright Side Education!

I reached out to Sara Struss at Bright Side Education in desperate need of help for my son Finn – in the middle of 1st grade, he couldn’t read the simplest of sight words. Sara was our only option left - we had tried online reading programs, extra help at school, he was in a Sp-ed reading program with an IEP where he was pulled from class 5 times a week. Nothing was working and we watched our son who loved everything about learning and school, shut down completely, every bit of homework, every book was met with tears… He was embarrassed, angry and dreaded going to school.
After our first meeting with Sara, my husband and I both commented on how much of a relief it was to find someone who believed in our son.
Each session we had with Sara, we saw our son light up a little more – he went from not being able to read sight words like “The, Is, In” to now reading chapter books & loving every second of it!! His Sp-Ed teacher commented this past school year how she couldn’t believe this was the same child she started working with less then a year ago. He is now off of all IEPs and LOVES reading!! He is now the little boy that is the first to raise his hand to read to the class, to read to all the daycare littles and curl up with a chapter book before bedtime.
Sara has become such an instrumental part of Finns life, although he is thriving at school – all thanks to Saras love, dedication and hard work – we look forward to continuing Finns journey with her.
The saying “It takes a village” was never more clear then watching Sara help our son move mountains in his reading journey.
Our hearts are forever grateful to Sara and all she has done for Finn!
